Questions
Common questions
How often do fire extinguishers need to be inspected?
Your staff should give them a quick visual check every month, and a certified technician should service and tag them once a year.
Which extinguisher does my kitchen need?
Most businesses use multipurpose ABC extinguishers. Kitchens that cook with oils and fats also need a Class K extinguisher near the cooking appliances.
An extinguisher was used. What now?
Call us. A discharged extinguisher has to be recharged or replaced right away, even if it was only used for a second.
